I don't think it matters much really. I mean some will have faster write times but I didn't really care about that. I bought the cheapest one I could find online that would read Compact Flash (for my G) and SD (for my digital camera). Those ones seems a little expensive. You should be able to get one for around $10 online somewhere.

Compact flash cards are a little dated. They were one of the first formats and due to their large size relative to other card types, are becoming used almost exclusively in cameras. They have faster read/write times which makes them good for cameras.
