Thank god i got my car for luxury and looks, and the feel of the drive, not the speed... dont get me wrong, i like to go fast, but not something 306 couldnt satisfy.

Yeah I'm not impressed. Base model had an extra passenger. Your thread title is deceiving. Bolt-ons on the VQ are overpriced and do not net enough gains to justify them. Sorry, been working with VQs for ages. The latest generations are just too good from the factory. Consider the money spent on "customizing" your ride and making it sound "different" not on making the car "faster".

I can vouch for a power gain. I did a quick sprint(about 1/8 mile) against BLUESLATE on our last meet. I got the fujita intakes (which are noisier rather than powerful) and he has the FI exhuast of High flow cats. He beat me by 1 car.

Intakes do diddly squat for our cars. If anything, we lose power. The whole "gain" in performance is in your head because your car sounds louder and you think your car is going faster. For example, My G beats my friend's mustang from a roll/dig, whatever you want, but when I drive his car, I swear that it's faster than mine because it's just so mind numbingly loud!

With that being said, I still have Fujita Intakes in my car and notice no power gain at all.

Without a proper tune, the money is really to make ur car go VROOOOOOOOOOM!

i think the sound n looks alone are worth the little extra money i spent on having intake n exhaust on the sedan. The dual intakes at full rpm are pretty sweet

I would highly recommend the FI exhaust. We had tested the car before and after, and the difference was about 2 to 3 car lenghts. The difference is notable. The sound is also amazing at WOT and nice at normal speeds. The intake, well I am not sure on the performance side because we never tried an after or before. But the sound is nice and agressive and is a nice mod. I would do both to be honest.

The tires didn't matter...they went from a ricer roll.

For 2008, Infiniti began advertising the G35 Sport has a manual.

If you wanted the G35 Sport in automatic, you would have to purchase a Journey with the Sport Package...with the Sport Package you're literally buying a G35S in automatic. Same goes for the G37.

In 2007 Infiniti just simply offered the G35S and you just put a check mark beside either automatic or manual.
