That's too much $$ for shipping just one car. I've shipped many cars to Dubai (not too far from Doha), and the price you got quoted is close to what I pay for exporting a whole 40ft container (usually with 3 cars). You should ask your shipping company for quotes on consolidated shipments, where they split the cost of the container with other parties that are shipping only one or two cars. This should cost between $1400-$1700 depending on how far you are from the shipping company.
As far as other fees, you have to pay import duty once it gets there. It's 5% of the market value of the vehicle in Dubai, and I think it's 4% in Qatar.
These cars are expensive there, so between all those costs and the $$ you lose by selling it cheap here, IMO you are better off exporting it. The catch is that your factory warranty won't work there. In fact, the dealerships there get pretty pissed off when they see anything other than "gulf specification" cars. Good luck

 

It's not bad at all, 1yr ago my cousin send his Escalade to Dhaka from Miami total cost $3200.00 including insurance. but yes it took them 3 months.
