2008 g35xS at ATCO, NJ (1/4 run)

Hello everyone! I'm a bit disappointed with my 08 xS because today I did couple of timers at ATCO raceway in NJ. My car has currently about 800 miles on it and therefore is not fully broken in yet. So, two runs both 14.1 with 99.4 mph trap speed and 2.1 60 feet. What's interesting, the car was in D mode, not in DS mode during these runs. Assuming it was in DS, would it have a better 1/4 mile time?

That seems on par to me,, my 07 x was doing 14.2 and 14.4 at 98, 99, does not matter on where you have the tranny stick in drag racing, this was at Brainerd Intl. raceway, last august...

spacecowboy was running 14.0 w/ his '07 G35x lakeshore slate last year. let the engine break in but you'll be close to those times. i can't wait to go to the track. i never ran at atco but heard the new pavement is good compared w/ etown

You're right, everyone was complaining about Etown strip!

I can't believe, I did not hit 13.8-13.9 and I also had over 1/2 tank of gas...not that it matters greatly

you've got AWD drivetrain loss, auto tranny drivetrain loss, and extra weight. I'd be happy with your times.
