Can't wait to get my POS stock grill off!

 

if it's in good condition, i'll buy it off you. hehe mine is all chipped...

 

Trust me ... when I say it's a POS, I mean it! It's pretty chipped up and each dealer I see says it is normal wear and tear.

 

Dealers are replacing the 07 chipped grilles (not to go off topic... but I had it done and know of 2 others as well)

 

Do you know if they would replace 08 grills as well?
I was just wondering if they fixed the grill issues in the 08 model or not.. cuz my 08 is chipping already.

 

Guess its on a dealer to dealer basis by which they're making the decision. I don't think a TSB exists for the grille, and haven't had the chance to inspect any '08 grilles, but the grille they replaced mine with (as well as the others who have had the same thing done) is notably better quality. I've driven ~ 1000 miles with no issues. One of the other guys had chips after 1000 miles with his original... he's been over 7k now with no chips on the new grille. Its definitely worth investigating.

I would really like to see it on the car (color matched of course... IP would be nice)... Depending on how it looks, I would be very interested!
I hope it does end up looking great!!!!!! It would make for a nice alternative for that chipping POS stock grill!
