Rubber dangling from sunroof

Last night after returning from a restaurant my wife noticed a large piece of rubber hanging from the drivers side of the sunroof on my 07 G35x. I reached up and pulled it away from the sunroof. It is kind of an accordian shaped piece I assume is used to hide the track or motor mechanism. I couldn't really tell how to put it back so I looked at the passenger side and didn't see another one like it. What's going on here?

+1, a common problem with the sunroof finisher. The Dealer can fix it at your next service.

you can always slide it back into place yourself until you decide to visit the dealer. no need to let it hang until then. it's a super quick fix.

I put mine back up a couple times, and it would come off again after a while. I eventually pulled it off and chucked it in the trunk. I let the Dealer glue it back on at my nxt service.

Yes, I love touching my wood. Especially when "rubbers" "dangle" from the sunroof....

Mines fell off the 2nd week of owning the G, But once slipping it back on, it hasn't fell off since. Been meaning to have the dealers fix it, but its no big deal.
