Wife curbs wheel, not even on car - unbelievable!

So I have an 07 G35S, factory 18"s. And, I have a second full set of OEM 18"s, brand new, with staggered Blizzak LM25's for the "snow" here in Philadelphia. Well, we took the snow wheels off the other day and put back on the Summer wheels, and today, as we're bringing the Snows up to the house from the back of the FX35, my wife DROPS a wheel onto the rock curb at my apartment - and RUINS my rim. They're not even on the FLIPPIN car!!! I'm so pissed.

That really sucks, especially because they're expensive.

Just money though, and quickly forgiving her pays off in the long run - she undoubtedly knows you're upset.

I took a turn at the Taco Bell drive in too sharp and curb rashed a good 4-5 inches the first week I had my car. It was bad and not just curb rash, it was chunked up pretty good. I was beside myself. After another month or two, I totally forgot it was there. You will be pissed for a relatively short while, but it's not worth the price to fix them.

This depends on the person.... I know it would drive me NUTS!

I ordered a set of G37 18's from eBay and before the guy could ship them, he dropped one of them on it's face and gave it a scratch on the face of the wheel.
He offered to drop $200 but I couldn't do it.

That little scratch would drive me crazy.

+1 - I actually had mine polished out, and even though it looked nice it was clearly different. Ended up replacing the wheel (and fortunately got a REALLY good deal and made out like a bandit).

When I had my Evo MR, I was putting them away for storage and was tired of carrying them I started to roll them at my friends dyno shop. Well and behold I hit the roller and it started to roll out of control and fell right on top or the roller and end. It scratched and put little dents on my perfect rim. I was mad as hell, I should have just carried them. ARGGHH!!

Yeah, she wasn't carrying the rims, she was just rolling them 20ft to the door. Too much responsibility apparently. But at least they're just the snow rims (or so I'm telling myself). I'll work on the steak/bj idea, I'll keep you posted...
