Ouch. I recently spoke to a friend of mine in the UK. He said gas was 1.33 a litre there (about 2.50 a litre USD, close to 10/gallon)

I now go only to certain (Chevron) stations, and am up to $3.65 in Houston for premium. Thank goodness for living close to work!

Guys we are just catching up to the rest of the world. When I lived in Italy in the early 90's it was like $4 a LITER. Luckily because we were military we got gas coupons on base for a lot cheaper. So over there people must think we are a bunch of whiney bastards for bitchin about $4/gal.

Check out this chart. http://money.cnn.com/pf/features/lis...bal_gasprices/

Don't you wish we lived in Venezuela.

I really feel for them. But then I bet you don't see a lot of Escalades and Hummers out there.

Did you get your car? If so, did you go with RI?

No I got it in hartford. They actually had one on the lot and gave to me for cheaper than the dealer in RI

Gasoline is Gasoline (additives make the difference if you believe they matter)
otherwise it is exactly the same.

Gas will continue to rise as the weakening dollar is cause oil prices to skyrocket. We are now paying for when the oil was ~ 100-110/bbl. I saw it at 119 the other day and if this continues, gas will also rise.

Yep, $5.50+ here in Ottawa. Those damn americans are getting it so cheap. I'd shed a tear of joy if my gas was $4.

I'm thinking hybrid sales should be off the charts these days
