Personally, I think Volks are too common - especially in LA/So Cal. While M45 rims are pretty common too, I think I see a more G35s with Volks than I see G35s and Ms w/ the M sport rims.

Additionally, if your friend is getting a new M45, he will have the 08+ M45 sport rims which look a little different than the 06-07 M45 sport rims.

From a looks perspective, the 19" M45s will look bigger than your current Volks with a big lip.

 

well, LA/So Cal is ricer-mania so of course it's common.

 

both wheels are slick buy the volks are 100% aftermarket. Maybe I'm missing the point but that means something to me.

 

IDK why people like Volks so much alot of their rims are over priced and ugly...that is just my opinion I don't wanna p!ss anybody off.

to my suprise the 08 wheel looks different than the older gen.
my first impression of these wheel. imo it looks good, i kinda like the look but no lip so that sucks for me. i test drove it on the fwy and its feels oem again. it doesnt have the stiff feeling, although it handles good with the bridgestones its not wide enough like my volks so it doesnt handle as great.or sell it out
what you guys think? should i keep it ?
im leaning toward just keeping my volks like the majority of the ppl voted.
the wheels n tires might be up for sale depending on my friend. if anyone interest pm me. this is just a feeler so its not for sure yet.

 

Wow the new M45 rims look sweet...tough decision...but I say M45, they just fit your car perfectly.
