Front Bumper Question

Does anyone know if the lower black grills on the front bomer come out? I hit a racoon this weekend and my grill is cracked but i managed to push out the dent in the bumper. I'd hate to have to get a whole new front bumper just to replace the black mesh grille.

thanks in advance.

Mike

If you are referring to the 07+ journey, no they do not come out. I'm currently making some custom insets to replace mine (which are not damaged), I just can't stand the way they look. The bumper appears to be made from a black material and everything but the fake grills are painted. It is one molded piece. If you need to replace your bumper I'd love for you to cut out the two fake grills along with several inches or the surrounding painted bumper so I could test fit these. Please PM me if you need to replace it.

Thanks!

You could, but it would be hideous. At least paint it black if you do.
