Just picked up a G35xs, and was wondering where I can pick up a tire and wheel warranty for a good price. Dealers price seemed awfully high and he didnt want to budge.

Self Insurance for me.... I figure if they can make money on it... i am sure i can self insure myself and take the risk....

I got the tire and wheel insurance on our A8 ... 3000 for new tires every 10K miles... (1000++ for a set) so that one was worth it... but other than that...

I already have my third set of tires on it....

 

What was the dealer price? Mine for 5 years was $445..which is a no brainer in my book..one curb damaged rim and rim and tire is going to be about $500. I didn't think that was terrible..not like the key warranty for 5 years for $500..what was that about?

 

i should've gotten this package........but at the same time, i know i'm eventually upgrading

 

I paid the same 445 for mine...and the dealer applied the coverage to my new custom rims and tires, vesus the stock.

Agreed..they cover new tires, different rims, etc.

My dealership said they had about a 90% take rate. I can see why..I was shocked it wasn't closer to 100%

 

+1, but mine was only $389? That's 1/2 a rim, or 1.5 tires
