So this is what it's like!

Filled up my car an hour ago, after driving to a Chevron a few miles down the highway (they're the lowest Chevron around by about $.20 / gallon).

Since I rarely drive on the highway, on the way back decided to see what mileage is actually possible with half highway mileage and babying the G. Cruised home at around 80 mph, cleared some lights on surface streets and surprise!! 23 mpg for the (fairly short) ride home - which is quite a diff from my usual 15

Still, back to experimenting with torque curves tomorrow

Hahaha... Sounds fun.

Well, I try to drive slow these days and I now get right around 18 +/- 0.5 MPH.... and that's a big improvement from 12~13 MPG that I usually get. lol

Yeah I've spent the past two days cruise controlling it into town on 290 at 65 and I'm able to get an indicated 27MPG....WOW

By going 65 vs 80 (21MPG) You can get an additional 120!! Miles out of a single tank...wow

I typically cruise around 70, and I get around 400 miles per tank or around 22mpg, depends how much stop-and-go is added in there.
