was going to just write that, my friends back in europe were telling me about everyone 3m ing their cars to get that matte black look. he was saying its actually huge protection on the paint. man our cars with their curves looks so nice with matte black.


edit: a guy in e90 forums did it, it cost him 120 bucks to get the vinyl ,

I'm buying my 08 off lease next month. To change it up I'm having sticker city in LA wrap my car. i'm not doing matte black tho - more matte gray or silver - still trying to decide.

It's about 2k to have it done professionally - but my roof was wrapped 2 years ago ($300) and it looks as good today as the day i got it. GREAT paint protection, warrantied for 3 years, and cheaper than painting.
