^^ If you look over the thread he didn't have any problems, he cut out a support that goes in the back of the bumper, he even posted pics about it. He did it for aesthetic reasons and I think that it looks really good.

Thanks!

Yeah, this grill looks great on the Black Obsidian model.

I kinda wish the mesh wasn't so deeply recessed, and instead was up front a little more. But I guess the pictures don't do it justice, and perhaps it looks even better in person.

Yeah i did have to cut the center piece off but it was easy, it's actually a piece of rubber matter, cut it off from top to bottom with a knife or scissors!? and the grille just snaps right in so it was pretty easy...the little hastle is getting to remove the grille but this post helps out ALOT!

If you cut out the center piece, are you still able to put the oem grille back in properly? Im not sure I will like the grille and may want to go back to the oem grille.

Thanks for the info. Two more questions, where did you get the emblem for the grille and how did you attach it?

Nice work on the grill.
I may have overlooked it in reading this thread but is anybody with an X or Journey installing this grill? Just curious to see what it looks like with our lower front bumper rather than the S.
Thanks

I bought a heavy duty double sided tape plus some crazy glue that thing holds up pretty well lol

and the emblem i got it from the trunk! i debaged the logo and INFINITI leaving G35S.

But if not im pretty sure you can buy the emblem online, my bet would be ebay?

Hope some of this helped you out?

Sorry to revive an old thread. But I have a quick question. Anyone have this grill installed with an intake? I'm looking at the stillen Gen 3 intake to be exact, which I know has some tight fitment specs. Any reply would be greatly appreciated.
