Can't burnout
Can't burnout
I turn off the VDC but still can't do a burnout. Every time when the rear wheels started to spin, the tranny cut the power. Did anybody here have the same problem?
If anyone here successfully did some burnouts, please tell me what you have done.
Thanks

I turned off VCD while spinning and at a complete stop, both didn't work out.
Yes, I did get the rear tire spinning while flooring it hard at the traffic light. But it is not a burnout. To do a burnout, it is a different story.
How to do burnout with RWD and automatic transmission? You can google it for a second.

are you applying the brake during this? If the wheels begin to spin and your foot is on the brake it will cut power to 25% automatically. so no brake torqueing in this car.
All you can do is hold the brake, build the revs to 2000-2500, release the break and floor it. it should give you some decent wheel spin.

I was wondering what happened when I barely touched the brakes while burning out.

Totally AGREE!!!
the car does some awesome donuts if u know how to keep it goin but burning out in place in this car doesnt work out too well...it'll screech for 2 seconds and stop. if u wanna burn out get some 20's, low profile tires with not much grip, a reflash, intake, hfc, and exhaust....then u could burnout in place lol
or if u have Terry's TWIN TURBO!!!

some one's grumpy
but ya.. its true that does sound stupidd

I want to have some fun with my G35 and also master the driving technique. I could easily do burnout and drift with my previous car and I sure want to know how to do it with this car too. After successfully burnout, I will practice some drifting.
