don't believe all the hype man...even if the intake makes you lose hp it's not a big deal and it still sounds way better than stock...at least install the intake until you're tired of laying her

Dude ... if she really did her research like you said she did ... she'll know you switched them out, so don't even try it. You can probably get away with "something better just came out" though.

Get her something that she's into (like purses or jewelry) that you know she won't like, but tell her you did the research. Give her the receipt and tell her that you don't mind if she returns it. When she returns your gift, swap the intake for whaever you want and both of you will feel better about the whole situation.

Or keep it simple...swap it and tell her. If she has a problem with it then she won't get you any car parts in the future.

 

What are you going to get? Like someone else said...the real risk isn't telling her that you're getting something new, but proving that its better than what you have, right? If you're going CAI or boost its a different story because those are truly different. But if you drop a popcharger in there you risk sleeping on the couch for a few weeks.

 

somehow make her think its her idea to change out the stillen, as long as it their idea everything is gravy.

cuz i may have a simple answer. do what you want with the car she dumps you. you give her my #. no problem mon. as they say in jamaica.

 

sell em and use the money at a strip joint... it'll be money spent in a better way and you'll gain power as well by switching back to the stock intake.... so it's like a win / win.
