If by Paint Body Moldings you mean Splash Guards, yes it's a good deal in my opinion. The invoice on that car as configured in your area (I used Dover as the zip code) according to Edmunds is $36,719 and that means the price they're quoting you is $1122 below invoice. Are you financing through IFS (Infiniti Financial Services)?

Yes splash guards that what it was, I drove the car last night and got those numbers. Yes I am financing with IFS. I am not sure if I will get the 0.9% anymore since it finished last night. Other dealers i called today said its no longer valid any more along with the $1000 Conquest. So that means im at $36,597. I work for JP mogan chase, which they said is infinitis bank, so I get a employe price, maybe why I'm getting it so close to cost. I really didn't think cost was 36K, but more around the figure's of 34K. But Today i called circle infiniti, and didn't mention i was a employe and they quoted me $36,915. I am heading out in a little bit, just to check out the Is250 awd and C300 Awd and see where they compare to in price with the G. Only thing which I'm not pleased is the MPG with the G35 compared to the lexus. But i believe with maintenance cost overall the G35 will be a better car for me.
Go to www.infiniti.com and look under "G Offers" and click on the details of the 0.9% financing. It's been extended until 30 September so you CAN get 0.9%. If they tell you that you can't, refer them to their own website.
You should do your homework to see but I've compared everything to the G and honestly you can't beat the bang for your buck. The C300 is a nice car but much less power than the G. You'd have to drive the C350 to get a comprable comparison and then you'll see that the price difference is about 15K more. Same goes with the Lexus IS-250. It's not really comparable. The IS-350 is comparable to the G but I know you're looking for AWD thus you have to look at the IS-250 as opposed to the 350 and the C300 as opposed to the C350. You'll see when you test drive them and look at the price that the G is the MUCH better value.
Good luck in your purchase...let us all know what you end up paying should you get the G!

and no i dont think its a good deal I got the same thing in Dec 2007 for for 36,600. So now that 09 is coming soon and you are only getting how much lesser 35,600 so thats 1000... I think you can do better esp if you are financing.. is you pay cash like I did, I still think more can be done.
not bad at all. I got mine in october last year, and it was a bit lower. With the 09 coming soon, that is to be expected (the #). BUT... the 09 will be more fuel efficient (arguments all over as to how much, but noone disagreeing that there will be some improvement). have more power, and some other nice things (scratch shield, speculation of ventilated seats, etc), but will cost you MSRP, whatever it would end up being. You may still be able to get something under the msrp, but nissan and infiniti both brought their numbers up last month. may not be the time to get a deal on a brand new model. Sorry for longwinded response.
In summation----good deal, but if you want things that will be in the 09, it may be worth your while to wait a bit, and pay a bit more.
My $0.02

Still no luck, i think im getting no deals. I did test drive the IS-250 awd last night, i can get it for 36K OTD but frankly it didn't have as many features as the G35. So im sold on the G35.
One dealer told me: OTD price 39,330 Final Price
I am trying to get around 34-35K based on the fact the new 09s are coming, along with many of you guys got this car last year in 07 for 36K.

Of course, they offset what I considered a reasonable price for the G35 and killed the deal for themselves by lowballing my trade-in by about $5,000. They quickly came up $2,500 on the trade with little effort on my part. But, after they started down the "sales system" path, I was pretty turned off by the experience. I'm not sure that's the dealership I want a long term relationship with. I'll shop around now.
In contrast, my experience with a Honda dealership several months ago was great. I bought an 08 S2000 in about 20 minutes, literally. My background is finance and I always go to the party fully armed with new car values, trade-in wholesale values, and my own financing in place. I lay this info out for them immediately and tell them what it will take to get the deal done....now.
The Honda guys basically looked over my info, exchanged a few questions, and agreed. The Infiniti guys tried the lowball, raise the offer game right up to the sales manager chasing us out the door with the classic "what can we do to win your business today". Wanted to say, "well a good start would have been to forego the games". Instead I just thanked them and told them I'd be shopping around for a better value.
I guess these guys still try this approach because 2 out of 10 times they score with a dummy. Of course they end up insulting the other 80% of us. I'm not sure this works out in their favor.

Don't get it if the stealer said $39K for an X. Most Approx.$34K-36K
B'careful.if you can wait..why don't you wait for 09 G37 sedan? It's better!!
FYI if the stealer keep telling ya that the 0.9% is gonna be expire or over soon..They lies~~~~!!!!

u gotta update where u r so people know and can give u advice. u need to be firm when dealing with dealers be preapred to go further a field to find a deal thats worth while. take driving and gas into account your time etc. I would go with INvoice price.. price it on carcost or something kelly or whatever and base YOUR offer on invoice. I would go with like 1K or more underinvoice if ur financing and a bit less if ur paying cash. You do not ask how much, you tell them how much you want to pay, because you already know how much the car cost. Thats what I did.
Sorry I'm from delaware, after calling other dealers and making up number and calling other dealers. I finally called my DE dealer and told him a price a Philadelphia dealer gave me of $33,995 + 3.25 tax + 400 tags 5 year. My sales person said hell call me back after he talks to his boss. I get a call back. Ivory with wheat, Prem, Navi + Tech for the same price of $33,995+tax/tags. I think that seems pretty good. I told him ill leave a deposit tomorrow once i go home and make sure this is what i want to do 100%. I will Most likely put a deposit and buy it by friday. I would like the 09 but I didn't want to pay msrp i wanted to stay around the 34-36 range. I also can say i did not even do any homework on the 09 and what it has difference then the 08
