Quote: No offense but what's the point of a "review" if all you said was "how it looks". I mean what's the point of saying things that we all know.

As for the "exclusive pics", I mean haven't we already seen them? What's the point of being "exclusive" if everybody's already seen them?

I would be more interest to see how it drives.

I suppose there's one in every thread.

The 3.7 EPA ratings are very good for the HP.... the seat heaters are good..only if they offer the heated/cooled seats... else I think we are ok with the 2 settings we got .....

Thanks for posting up the pics and giving some of the small details that you noticed. Are the door handles washi or bright chrome? The platinum graphite that you posted is just what I'm waiting for. It looks awesome. Unfortunately, I was given an October 3rd ETA, but I'm hoping that date is conservative.

The door handles were still chrome. That one threw me off since there was some literature which supposedly stated that the door handles would now be fashioned in washi trim. Guess that was a typo?

Hey thanks for the pics.....them cars looking real good man, i cant wait to pick up mine. Can you check to see if the reverse tilt down feature is there for the mirrors and can you take a close up of the tachometer...i want to see the chrome ring around it. Also can you verify if the car comes featured with adjustable reclining rear seats or is that a European thing, thanks again for the pics.

How about the guages? I heard they got rid of the blue ring around it..."say it ain't so Joe...say it ain't so"

And do you have the MSRP yet of the different trim levels/options?? I would think it would be on the cars already right even though Infiniti hasn't "officially" released the pricing yet??

I didn't notice anything different about the gauges. The violet ring is still there. The mirrors do NOT tilt down when you put the car in reverse. No reclining rear seats either. I'd like to know where you heard that such a feature is available? They were available on 1st gens (V35s) w/ Premium but were discontinued when the second gen V36 body style arrived in '07. I know the Euro models get front and rear sonar sensors, headlight washers and a few other bits and pieces, but I was unaware that they were bringing back the rear reclining seat feature.

The monroneys were not posted on the vehicles yet. They're posted on the windows at the dealership and our dealership has yet to do so. Pricing should be available within a week or two though.

I can't thank you enough for your well organized and insightful writeup. Your writeup has me SERIOUSLY thinking that the changes do not warrant the increase in price over the SMOKING deal that I think I can snag on an 08 right now.

Thanks!

Matt,

check in the premium packaged only car (no nav) if there is voice recognition. they wrote that it's available in the ordering guides... i'm sure that's a typo from infiniti too. the sport 18's I guess we have to live with. I got another few weeks until I get mine

Is that a non premium sport model???? I haven't seen one of those before...

The '09 non-Sport 18s despite having the same wheel design of the '07-'08 Sport wheels have switched over from Bridgestone Potenza RE050s to Dunlops most likely because they're cheaper to replace (the tradeoff being that they're less grippy). The new Sport 18s still ride on RE050s though.

As for your second question, you could always get a Sport w/o Premium. The G35 Sedan is approved for Honolulu Police Department officers but they're not allowed to have moonroofs (no Premium) because of the light bar so the majority of them ordered Sports w/o Premium.

Keys are locked up with Service until tomorrow. I'll try and check tomorrow if I can. I'm guessing they might mean Bluetooth w/ voice recognition for just the BT feature and the BT feature alone.

if you get a chance to read the ordering guide read what is says... voice recognition for bluetooth, HVAC, and Audio controls.... under th Premium Package section

Dunlop tires will probably still be on the G35x w/ Sport for 2009. I would be amazed if they gave the same 2008 style 6 spoke 18's for the G35x w/ Sport Package than the 5 spoke 18's
