I like the look of the Stillen roof spoiler.

What is a average cost of getting it painted to match the car (I have Desert Platinum)? Is it something I'd have to have done at the dealership or could a body shop or custom car place do it?

 

I had the ravespec wing on my blue slate. It looked great but the fit was not good. I cleaned the window as good as i could but it kept raising up at the sides. I noticed it wasn't sitting flush but I thought the tape would keep the edges down. It would stick for a little while then raise up. I got mad and ripped it off.

 

Does the spoiler make the car faster?

 

 

yes but not by much, it gives you about extra 2-3mph at the end of the quater mile time...

I just put on the ravspec this past week. I don't have a problem with it sticking up on the sides or the middle, but I used a lot more double sided 3M than what came with it. But I do have small 3-5mm gaps on each side and I'm not really digging that. I'm not sure what that's about. Anyone else having this problem?

i have stillen with no fitment issues, i.e. no gaps and such, looks nice IMO

 

Kool Yaar, hey did you use silicone or dubble sided tape for your roof spoiler?

 

Anyone have an idea how much it is to get the roof spoiler painted? rough estimate?

 

depends where you go. anywhere from 100 to 150.

 

$60 painted and installed. But I think it was because I'm a chick with a hot car!!!

The stillen spoiler is on sale right now I believe. From 232 to 158 :P
