Always nice getting compliments on your whip 
Two separate instances happened to me:
1. As I was walking to my car, a guy leaning on an '06 G coupe, walked up to me and asked, "What year is this car?" I answered '07. The guy then said, "#$%@, I should have waited for the sedan..." In my head I thought, yes sedans are truly better than coupes
2. I was waiting outside for a buddy of mine to eat and noticed 3 guys pile out of an Escalade. All three of them walk around my car and squat down to look at my rims. One guy exclaims, "Daaaaaammmmmnnnnn!" Guy 2 says," Man that is one sic ride." Guy 3 says, "Could have sworn it looked like an M5..."
I thought an M5?!
But I still smiled to myself.

^lol i have a coupe but ive had the security guard at the hospital parking lot ask me what kind of car it is and then an under his breath sort of "nice looking car" as I drove away

Some guy at the gas station came upto me and said something like "Sweet car, that thing's got a lot of power huh?"
I was like thanks, it's got more than enough power to satisfy a 20 year old. lol

I was pulling into my bank parking lot and I noticed an Infiniti M going the other way and he slowed down very quickly when he saw me.
I pulled into the lot and as always, I slowly backed into the farthest spot in the lot and I noticed the M pulling back in. He pulled up and parked next to me.
I get out of my car and he says "Nice wheels, where'd you get them?"
We talked for a short while.... the whole time, I'm trying not to eyeball the eye candy he had in the passenger seat. He mentioned again and again how good my car looked and seemed almost sorry that he had an M and not a G.
I told him to check out our website and he said, nah, that's for G's. I explained that there was a full section for M owners as well and we parted ways.
I pulled into the lot and as always, I slowly backed into the farthest spot in the lot and I noticed the M pulling back in. He pulled up and parked next to me.

So, I spent the weekend cleaning the G. I finished up with a few coats of wax this morning and later in the day, I needed to swing by the grocery store. On the way home, I decided to stop for gas. I drove through an intersection and up on my right, I noticed a cop's car in a parking lot. As I approach and pass by, he started pulling out behind me. I immediately start wondering if I went through too fast.
I pull in and up next to a pump and as I get out, I notice the cop pulling in slowly. I swipe my credit card and there he is, backing into a parking spot behind me... just sitting there staring at me.
A minute goes by and he slowly pulls up next to me and rolls the window down. I made sure not to make eye contact until I heard "So, is that an 09?"
I look up and I said " No, an 07" He was very surprised and said that the car looked brand spanking new. He's like "Damn, that's a good looking car".
We ended up talking for about ten minutes. We were comparing the G to the Lexus IS250 that he also likes and it was a very funny conversation because I had to try hard to not talk performance. I can't just come out with "Dude, this car would smoke an IS250! He's heading to the dealership to test drive the convertible coupe.
I thought I was busted, but it turned out to just be a cop with an appreciation for nice cars.

I guess i should be happy? but over the 4th weekend was down in Virginia beach pumping some gas in the G. Across from me was a white Buick LaCrosse...Grandma came out of the car and was like wow what kind of car is that? looks really nice.. I guess a compliment is still a compliment : )
