/\ What'd he say? What'd he say?!?

What you do is get a police report and then make an insurance claim. The driver at fault is responsible for paying for your repairs.

Some idiot punk was crossing when the light was green for me and popped right front of me. I smacked him with my mirror, called the police although not my fault but it would be wasting my time bring this guy to the court to claim it. If we are talking about green lights for both. If red lights for the pedestrians then not.

If that's the case why would tey have the lights for pedestrians?

His hand went through my roof and wacked me in the face, he crumpled the whole left side of my car and broke the convertible roof frame, and flipped over the rear end of the car landing on the street. Luckily he was ok. Witnessed by a bazillon people. I obtained a police report, and several witnesses gave me their phone numbers. I went to the ER to make sure the kid was really going to be ok. Police officer was there to take report. Father was irate, lunging towards me saying he was going to sue me. Police had to take him to another room. In the end it was determined that the kid was crossing against traffic. Their homeowner's insurance foot the whole bill for repair to my car.
