How to remove curb weight on the "X" (3704lbs)

Hey everyone,

I was checking out the specs and comparing all the models the "x" has about 200 more pounds then the sport or journey. When im driving alone i can really feel the power behind the G. But when 2+ are in the car i can feel it dragging maybe cuz all the body weight in the car pushes it over 4000+ lbs. Can anyone tell me where i can start to remove weight little by little? I keep my trunk pretty empty. Spare tire is always a option haha

I have an X and I contemplated on whether to get one or a journey for that exact same reason. I wanted to know if the Sport auto was any faster than the x from 0-60 or in 1/4 mi. But when you really think about it 200lbs is not a significant difference. That weight is only noticeable on a winding track. There really is no way to take off weight besides the spare tire lol. of course if you wanna ruin your car and put in aftermarket racing seats or something stupid like that.

How heavy are you and your friends? It's all about passengers and cargo.
