^ The black grille should be hot. I wish the coupe lost some weight! Anyway I'm excited to see these "aero kits"

The aero kit is the front lip + rear spoiler.

Not $2k; more like $1k. MSRP for the Base 2008 was $32,250.

http://www.infiniti.com/g_sedan/index.html

MSRP for the 2009 is exactly a $1k more.

PS - Even though I'm a WVU grad and should hate your logo, best of luck in the rest of the season. Hopefully the December 6 game in Motown will decide the Big East.

I was basing my calculations on the prices posted by mpgxsvcd and Mike@Riverside. Looks like there is an $1815 price difference for the Base, Journey, and X and a $2015 difference for the 6MT.

I hope my Bulls don't freeze in that December weather in WV.

ARoss, I just remembered the destination charge for the 2009s is $815; that was the difference. My 2007 had a destination charge of $750 or so, if I remember correctly. So overall, they only really upped the starting price by $1100; the new tranny and Akebonos are worth that - to me at least.

Yea, but the X doesn't come with the brakes. I priced a 2009 G37X with the same options as my 2008 G35X. About a $2000 higher MSRP.

Check out the marketplace; we have pictures of the lip and I believe the spoiler.

www.infiniti.com also has pictures available.

mIKE, I want to lease a 2009 G37x sedan with the premium, navigation, sport, technology, rear lip spoiler, front chin spoiler, black midnight grill and splash guards so I've been trying to find out the correct option code for the rear lip spoiler (like this one on Gryder2282's G sedan) and if the aerodynamic package for sport and navigation packages includes the rear lip style spoiler. Since I'm leasing, I'd rather have a car with all the options factory installed because you only pay for the depreciation on anything that is factory installed (because it's in the sticker price) as opposed to 100% of the cost for any dealer installed accessories. So I need the correct option codes so I can tell the dealer what to look for in the Infiniti inventory system. When various salespeople have found G37x's in inventory with either rear spoilers or aerodynamic packages, they can't seem to tell me what style of spoiler is installed on the car because it's not clear what is the option code for the rear lip spoiler or what kind of rear spoiler comes with the aerodynamic package.

Edmunds.com has a nice list of the option codes for the 2009 G37x factory installed options/accessories. Here's a link to it.
http://www.edmunds.com/apps/newtmv/T...leid=101115176

From that edmunds.com list of option codes, here are the ones for the various rear spoilers and aerodynamic packages.

R01 - Rear Spoiler - Navigation & Sport
R94 - Rear Spoiler - Navigation
R93 - Rear Spoiler - Non-Navigation
R97 - Aerodynamic Package - Navigation & Sport
R96 - Aerodynamic Package - Sport
R92 - Aerodynamic Package - Non-Sport
R95 - Aerodynamic Package - Navigation

Infiniti salespeople also have a little book of all the Infiniti models and available options (with their codes and prices) and a salesperson was nice enough to let me look at it and the codes matched the ones on edmunds.com. I forget what that book is called but it has a name.

So after all that background info, here are my 2 questions again.

1) Based on what I saw in that book and on edmunds.com's option list, the R01 rear spoiler requires the sport and navigation packages so that leads me to believe that it must be the rear lip type spoiler since it would need to have a hole for the rear backup camera (which is included with the navigation package). That hole would only be needed if the rear spoiler was the lip type as opposed to the rear deck style. Is R01 the correct option code for the rear lip spoiler?

2) Do you know if the aerodynamic package for sport and navigation packages (option code R97) includes the rear lip style spoiler or the rear deck spoiler?

Thanks in advance.

Where's the best place to find the info of all the trim levels, factory installed accessories, and packages for the year 2007? I tried a search but no luck.
