Hill start? Folding rear seat?

Does the 6mt have a hill start assist?
Also, does it have a folding rear seat (60/40 or full) or just the ski pass through?

Thanks.

No hill start assist, thats why its called a 6MT, 6 gears, MANUAL, transmission.
No folding seat, just ski pass thru

BMW manual transmission all come wil hill start assist. It automatically applies the brakes if a gradiant of 3% or more is detected and releases the brakes when the clutch is at the friction point.

Yup, so does the new TL(6MT) and Subarus(STI and WRX) and VW/Audi. Even the Dodge Challenger has it. Oh well, at least it has a console mounted e-brake.

I've never had it in my cars but I can see it helping when you're trying to parallel park on a steep hill.(Think San Francisco)

Dang it, I was hoping for the "Hill Start" (look @ where I live) since I'm switching to a new G37 soon.

Shiet. I let that sucka roll back a little bit to let everyone know to GTFO of the way of this manly 3 pedal man car 6M/T of mine. This ain't no 2 pedal affair. MOVE B**CH, GET OUT THE WAY. GET OUT THE WAY B**CH, GET OUT THE WAY.

Honestly I guess I can understand why a HSA feature might come in handy, but I've never had a problem negotiating steep grades with an M/T. All you need is a pair of fast feet and a good grip on the e-brake. They definitely make sense in cars like the new A5 which come with electronic push button e-brakes though. My how technology has spoiled so many of you. It's ok, I still grunt when I have to use a key to start my truck.
