Here's what I mean by no lip:

Front on the GTM has ZERO lip. IMO, it looks OK, but the GTFs look better. At least they have some semblance of a front lip. Bigger lip the rear too:

But, who cares what we think. Get the one YOU like best.

Regardless of which you get, you must lower the car. The rims will look very small if you don't lower the car.

If you're not going to lower, stick w/ a stock looking rim like some 19" G37 rims or some 19" M45 rims. These would be OK w/o lowering as the spokes go right out to the edge of the rim so it makes the rim look somewhat bigger than the GTM or GTFs.

they both look nice but i'd go with the GTF's and whichever one you end up choosing, its going to need a drop regardless. i think the g's w/ aftermarket rims look silly on stock height.

Tires do look pretty beefy, but according to his link, they're sized correctly at 275-35-19.

I think it's just the nature of the design of the rim. ANY 19" rim with a lip will make the rim look smaller and the tire sidewall correspondingly larger. If you go with rims w/o a lip, they will look bigger. For example check these Advans out. I'm pretty sure he's running the same 275-35-19s in the rear, but the tires look lower profile and the rims look larger than the Volk GTM or GTFs which have lips. The other thing is, these Advans are 10" in the rear vs. 9.5" for the Volks. THe wider rim will give the tires a slightly stretched look making it look less bulgy and beefy:
