Has a theft recovery listed on title.... runs and drives fine. Shift-lock button is gouged, spare rim has gouges, front grille looks like it saw a lot of highway action. Thoughts? I felt 18k was fair and they balked... walk away?

Ok here is the scoop. Was a rental return. NO salvage title, only shows a theft recovery. Car was gone for about 10 days total. Lots of little nicks and scratches from being a rental.
Things I noticed it is missing:
No auto-dim mirror
No memory seats
It does have NAV.
They are saying least they will take is 21k which I think is way too much.

Ok with what you just said it be very careful if the ppl who stole it had the car for 10days then who knows what they tried to or actually got around taking out, maybe even mechanical/electrical realted however if you like the car i would first get i tchecked out by a good certified mechanic or a dealership that can cross check the VIN with other parts of the car and test all the essential equipment, and im pretty sure they wont be able to sell it for 21k if they state the theft facts to others, you can get a decent used 07 G for about 24k with around that or even less milage.

I know this is kind of hi-jacking my own thread but... anyone driven or have experience/opinions on the Acura RL? I happened to drive a 2005 RL driving the Infiniti... it was really damn nice... not as fast as the G but feature-rich... price is a little higher and it is 2 years older.. but damn... you'd never know it.

What NAV system does the car have?
If it where OEM there would be more buttons below the lcd. Doesn't the OEM NAV share a hard drive with the music box as well, meaning it should also have the CF card reader (IDK). There are not any steering wheel NAV controls either.
There is no mention of NAV in the sellers description either. I would highlight that option if it was on any car I was selling.
Curious

i would stay away from it. if i had this in my possession for ten days (and it wasn't a car that i didn't care about) i would over-rev. neutral drop. use and abuse the crap out of it. and that is EXACTLY what the person that had this car did. thanks. but no thanks. plus the 18k is what the car is REALLY worth with that kind of title
EDIT : it does NOT have navy. and you can tell there are some parts missing for example the heated seats and AWD controls in the center.
