Quote: WHat type of Paint did you use for the Grille? I work at a body shop, and may do like you to save some $$$! I was thinking of just a regular glossy black. But the semi-glossy look is good too.

KRYLON Fusion spray paint - Glossy Black (got it at local Wal-Mart store)

Quote: I decided to go ahead and paint my own midnight grill instead of buying a factory one and costing me an arm and a leg...only hard part was taking off the grill. Overall i'm happy with the new more aggressive look

Wow...that looks awesome Eric! Love the grille...definitely more agressive looking, and loving the wheels. Also, may I ask where you got the "bumper plugs". I'm thinking about doing away with the front license plate.

Thanks and great job!

Thanks for the quick reply Eric. I just checked out the site. Did you have to do any modification to make sure that the plugs fit such as making them bigger? My front license plate was drilled by the dealer so it is all factory.

Quote: thxs...btw if any socal G wants to get their grill painted, I can do it for a small fee
I might take you up on that offer. Your grille looks great!!! My G already has chips in the grille after only 600 miles and this paint should help cover those up!

agreed, to do it the right way...you got to strip the chrome first and then paint.
