I thought canards were those little winglets (gay)...

I'm talking about cut outs to cool brakes, but now that I think about it not a good idea as these rotors warp so easily. I wouldn't want water coming straight at them.

Ahh i see. I'm sure there are no bumpers with scoops on the far side of it. You can try out like greddy, top secret, and kuruma with a fabricated air diversion panel or tunnel. You then have to cut out the plastic wheel well. Might as well go with better brake that is more fade resistant.

water while driving would not warp the rotors.
It's uneven cooling that causes warping.

One of the 1st things taught at track DE events is run a cool down lap.
& do not put the pkg brake on when you go back to pits.

Warping of street machines is rare.

An interesting read...

I've already had to replace warped rotors, and it's only been on the "street." I mean as far as water directly hitting them, like when you follow a car in the rain, and the rotors cooling too fast and warping.

I dunno, could be good or bad, probably not worth the trouble. I was just wondering if there was a easy plug in, kinda like this:

These are for the engine compartment but something with piping for brakes.

Stillen sells this for the mustangs, but nothing for our cars, if you fit it close enough behind the side vents, you could probably modify it to work. The only other options would be a roof flashing vent that you could get from someplace like home depot with aluminum dryer piping run to the back of the rotors.
