Ok I am about to paint my grill and I have looked at hundreds of pics on this forum and I am surprised how many of you went to the glossy look. For those of you who have a matte grill can you give me some paint tips like what brand and how many coats? So lets all weigh in and post pics of your best grill shot!

 

Unless you have something matte black on your car, I dont see a reason for going matte... looks cheap on a stock car.

Do gloss..

 

Matte looks unfinished (like primer).

 

Matte looks great when you have...

Matte wheels, matte rear valance, matte headlights, matte window trim and matte tails.

 

I always thought the matte look was better on oldschool ratrod style or on newer beater drift cars...
