I've got an 08 g35xs with 7100km on it and recently I've been seeing some tranny issues I think. When driving using the paddle shifters sometimes a shift will violently shake the entire car. It feels EXACTLY like I hit a crack/bump in the road and I hear the gear SNAP into place. When that snap happens the car shifts virtually instantly, which is freaking awesome, but I think there is something wrong...

Any inputs?

 

the whole car kinda feels like it hit something for a split second?
I've had the same issue and some say it's normal. The torque converter is simply locking up as they say. i don't know though. I just know that theres more than a few here that have the same issue and it doesn't look like it's serious.
