My neighbor just did the same thing to his new 1 month old F250. $3K in damage on his. He's gotta replace the whole side, all the way to the cab.

After being rear-ended by a crack *****, my car looked very similar.
Now that it's been fixed, you would never know.
Don't worry, the car is repairable and you are ok.

As for those tires... mine are sitting in the garage still on the OEM wheels. They suck in the winter.
I'm now running Blazzak WS-50's and the car is a tank in the ice and snow.

Mods are great and they'll come with time. Put your cash where its most needed right now. Get some winter tires!

Glad you're okay.

I know its easier said than done but in a skid never slam your brakes. Pumping them instead of slamming always prevents further skidding or spinning. Hope you get her back to new in no time. Sorry to hear it especially around Christmas time. Good luck.

i just got back from the body shop they quoted a min of 3.5k to fix it, that is just getting a new bumper and a new rear quarter panel, it would be more if anything beside the body work is destroyed, what do you all think? Too much? around right? Thanks.

That's less than what the crack ***** did in damage, so that sounds about right.
Pay the deductable, get it fixed the right way, by the very best shop you can find.

This is your baby... don't shop for deals to save a few bucks. Do it right.

Spend the money you save on winter rubber.

Thanks guys, yeah I was really unlucky that i hit a patch of ice and spun off but really lucky that no one hit my while i was spinning or that i didn't hit anybody as well. Here's the thing though, I have 1000 Deductible for my insurance, should i claim it and get only pay the 1k but then my premium might sky rocket, or just pay off the whole thing, sorry this is my first accident and I have no clue what to do.

I think your premium will be higher after accident report claims with $1000 Deductible. For this 1000 deductible you might consider to fix yurself w/o claiming yur insurance.Anyone have any idea pls.chime in!!! Help fella G here...

when i was with progressive, they jacked up the premium for a claim above $700 that's why i switched to all state it has accident forgiveness and the cheapest premium i can find for better coverage
