Installed my FI exhaust while I was home for Christmas. Took about 500 - 600 miles before the sound really kicked in, but now it is amazing. I also installed the JWT Pop Charger around the same time. Definitely a good combination. Here are some pics.

Its a VERY thin straight silver wire...
Check out this picture and youll see that there is a bolt to attach your grounding wire to. It is not found on all cars. My AWD Sport didnt have it. This bolt is found only on the drivers side exhaust for this exact reason.

Thanks for the reply the grounding wire is for the 4WAS as i looked, but my exhaust system does not have the bolt on the driver side muffler pipe like the pic you have so maybe they forgot to put it on mine, im a bit dissappointed but ill be and check again to make sure that there is in fact no bolt there for the wire(im about 99% sure its not there but maybe i missed it). And there is no other place i can bolt it into within the vicinity of the wire so ill have to extend the wire some how and attach to the clamps somewhere, Once agian tahnks for the help 2008g35xs

Every single year here in MA and the tests are a b1tch.
It's one reason why i'm not going with HFCs.
I don't need the stress or hassle.

Im interested in buying a FI Exhaust and HFC but i wonder if this would affect my inspection with this investment. Can I get it from the dealer and installed from the dealer? i dont want this to affect my warranty.

Thank you for all your help

^ It depends on the dealer, but most probably not. You certainly can not GET the exahust+HFC from them and many dealrships avoid installing aftermarket parts onto cars that may void the warranty.

Just keep in mind that you are covered by the law if need be, as the manufacturer/dealer can only void warranty for the specific part that was changed, so i fyou change your exahust and your LCD stops working they can not deny repair.

Its pretty much depended upon the dealer and in MY opinion greatly upon one's own attitude when a situation arises.
