Everyone with a BBK
get a spare from a G37 or an OEM 19 (full size spare). If your insurance provides roadside assistance you really don't need to keep the spare with you, but I always bring along my full size spare if I'm taking a roadtrip.
i don't know your car, but an OEM 19 fits in the 03-07 coupe's trunk. we aren't able to put the floor mat back in, however.
bbk is pretty much for looks if you aren't tracking your car / spending time in the canyons.

Not at all. The cold stops are actually longer in the G37S vs the G35S.
They just look GREAT inside the wheels.

The stock OEM rotors on my 07 X absolutely suck. I am very easy on my brakes (really).
I have had many cars in my life and none of them have needed brake jobs on a regular basis. Heck, my Toyota Tacoma had the same brakes (including pads) for over 6 years and I traded that truck in with the original brake parts still in perfect working order.
With that being said, the rotors on my G warped at about 10K. At first, it was minor, but it quickly got worse... to the point that it was hard to keep the car on the road in a quick stop situation. The car ended up at Infiniti for other work and they agreed to turn the rotors. I explained that turning a warped rotor is nothing but a band-aid and not a solution. They agreed and said that if they warped again, they would replace them. I am now at 30K with warped rotors again. I have to call them and set up a date and time to make the 2 hour trek to the dealer for new rotors, and it has to be done in a manor that costs me nothing.
The BBK does look nice, I'll say that. But buying new rotors for all four corners is not necessarily a low cost mod. Getting "good" rotors can be costly. The BBK, from what I have seen, includes decent rotors. Considering the fact that the calipers are also being upgraded and that the price is half what it used to be, I'm now considering it.
I don't track my car, but I do feel that with performance upgrades that make the car go faster, there should also be improvements to the braking system as well. Distance to stop is important, but the difference is minor and is not outweighed by the systems benefits.
Anyone else have thoughts on this?

To upgrade to the G37S Akebono BBK, you would need everything ... the rotor, calipers and brackets. But you are right .. the prices should plunge shortly becasue the G37S sedans will also use the BBK.

When I first looked at this kit, it was close to $2400-
It's on everythingG35 now for $1300
It drops any more and I'll pull the trigger, unless those coilovers get my coin first!
