Best place to order IMPUL springs?
^^ man, that sounds like some serious weather...i would definitely stay at stock height if i were in your position...
on a second thought...has anyone tried sawing the stock OEM springs or is that too ghetto?

.... you shouldn't have to ask.i'm still holding out hope that the G37C sport springs will give a little drop.
OR...
Now that the 370Z is out..... maybe????
Man I would love to go with Impul, but I am constantly bottoming out on ice and snow on the roads here all winter with my X at stock height
It is terrifying when you hear big chunks of ice bouncing under your car while at highway speeds
I am commited to driving my car with an off-road 4x4 stance.

I'm afraid of going with Eibachs, but the Impuls are very tempting. Maybe I'll wait for the exchange rate to flop in the other direction.
BTW, before you ask... I already put the "spring bug" in the wife's ear. She's not happy with me but I'm giving her more than enough time to get used to the idea.... although she still hates my exhaust!
does anyone know if eibachs drop the car just as much if it is an "x" rather then the other suspensions. iv herd 1.3 in front and 1.4 in back, im guessing its the same for the x correct?
I would assume so, since the springs are setting the height.
My understanding is that the more you drop the car, the more premature wear and tear you put on the other suspension parts, ie. shocks and struts.
This is why the coil overs are the better option, but I get mixed info on whether or not they fit the X.

I posted pics from the SM a while back;
The lower front strut is a yoke mount on the X, which is completely different than a non-X.
A coil over would have to be specifically designed for the X

I said it before and I'll say it again...
Alan's car on Eibachs... the look is perfect.

better then 995 CAN they quoted me lmaoo just for springs, japanparts can suck onee
lmaoo gaurenteed you can throw them on and she'd never notice
guys guys guys, a drop is a drop!!!
don't think you'll get away from "tire rutts" and "highway glaciers" by buying overpriced springs that supposedly give you 3/4 of an inch less in drop.
If you want the drop, do the eibach/tein/h&R setup and if you want a slight lift in the winter, throw on some spring boosters (cheap alternative to coilovers).
