My car wouldn't lock when I was driving

So I hop in the G and the lock buttons were not responding when I try to lock or unlock. It was like this throughout the trip. I did lock the car with the remote key but the buttons still wouldn't respond. After I reached my destination and turned off the car, the lock buttons were working perfectly fine. Has this happened to anyone else.

Dumb question, I know, but were all of the doors completely shut? I've seen that cause the locks to not function and the only alert you get is the little "!" light.

Sounds like an issue with your BCM -- during the period when the locks were not working, did you hear the relay "clicks" with the lock and unlock buttons depressed? If not, then it's your BCM likely -- in the passenger kickpanel ..

If you dont' recall the clicks .. perhaps it's a problem closer to the lock motors .. however, there are four lock motors (obv. one at each door), and only one lock relay (i learned this after extensive time at the BCM installing KP's autolock module)... would probably be quick to blame that relay before blaming anything else.

I would ask you to check fuses... but it started working again and that would be unheard of it a fuse blew.

This happened to me this past Friday night. Had to unlock the door manually. The car locked OK with the Key FOB. When I got back into the car to head home it worked fine.
