i think it's mainly a finishing piece for the rear bumper...because i think you're asking if there is going to be a large piece going under the car actually "diffusing" the ground from the car...this is what you're asking right? but at the same time, who cares! it's going to look awesome

i got an email from the guys yesterday and they thought i was talking about the 07+ subaru legacy or the 07+ wrx...i guess that's why they sent me the wrong link in the email...anyways, now they know it's for the 07+ g35 sedan so maybe their response will be different this time around...especially if they know we have 13 people in the matter of a few days...i will add this though, if you sign up please keep in mind that if this goes into production they might have your money for a while...this might not be the case but it can happen so please sign up knowing that this is a possiblity...we need people who have the disposable income laying around for this modification...if you're not one of these people, then please refrain from signing up...i don't want to single anyone out, it's just that we need serious buyers for this item

alright just got another email back from ravspec...
"Hi Paul:
We definitely interested to see a group buy. We have done several rear diffuser , for example for the G35 coupe, 08 STI, EVO X and we are now working on Legacy GT.
Depending on the style, retail price should be around $399 to $450. Deposit typically are 50% of the final price. In the case of 07~08 G35 Sedan, we would need minimum of 20 people to put in the deposit and turn around time are in the range of 2 months to 3 months.
We have done quite a few similar type projects, and the most recent are PU front lip for Legacy GT which we have about 60 x deposits.
Let me know what other info you will need. Thanks."
Okay, so from the e-mail it is my understanding we need 20 people willing to put down a $200 deposit...this is going to be tough because 20 ppl to throw down 200 dollars for 2-3 months is not easy to do...so this is what it is, ravspec is option A
option B: XDC motorsports in atlanta...this is where i was going to have my rear valence painted with some SEM paint...lucky for me, they had a boat project and a tundra project going on today so i backed out on painting the overlay...
the guys at XDC told me that they could do a CF diffuser if they used my vehicle as a test fit vehicle...i think this is a great idea...the price would remain around the 400-450 ballpark, but with XDC we only need 10 people for them to start tooling. also, the turn around time is going to be 2 weeks - 1 month instead of 2-3 months...here is XDC's website, as you can see they work on high-end vehicles and are sticklers for detail...which is great for us...thoughts?
