Do any of you guy go to the dealer for an oil change even though you have performance mods like intakes and exhaust.
And if you did, were there any problems?
Did they question you?

ya i went to the dealer for an oil change and i have JWT intakes and a Mangaflow exhaust.... No problems. One of the workers actually commented on the JWT intakes lol

No problems...considering it was my dealer that installed my cats and intakes (and they love it when my car comes in). Whether they are going to ask you about your mods depends on the dealer. I am sure if you drove to Riverside for an oil change, you would not run into any questions.

 

Riverside is a pretty far drive but I might make a trip up there. I'll take my girl with me so I wont be bored lol
I'm sure since some of you guys had no issues, i wont either, at least I hope so. Riverside is like 80 miles from me

 

Ouch, I had no idea it was that far from you and considering SoCal traffic is horrendous @ times its gonna be a long trip for you. On the bright side, maybe you will leave Riverside w/ some unexpected aftermarket mods .
But in all seriousness, if you find a dealer that sells aftermarket mods that is closer to you, I am sure that they are going to be cool about the stuff that you did to your car.

 

Well the dealer by me sells rims, and grilles, and nismo stuff.
So I'm sure they will be cool.

i go to my dealer to get my oil changed..ive quite a few extras and they love watching and hearing it come in the bay doors.

 

yeah robby you'll be okay bro, there's always at least one guy at the dealership that says something nice about the mods...

 

My dealer commented on my midnight grill, they asked me where I got it.

 

dealer = rape. Stay away unless there is warranty work to be done.

I need a f-ing oil change and if I dont go and some problem happens with my car, they will bring that up.

 

Never a problem for me... and I have a few mods

 

It was fine he had the hood open and was staring at my blue intakes hahahaha.
