G37 Sedan vs G35 Sedan

So car and driver says that the new chassis takes the hard edge off the ride. Anyone here that has driven both the G35 sedan and G37 sedan can state how big of a difference it is?

Ah I see, so you've driven both? Good to know because i went to the dealer looking for a G37 but lease price was way too expensive, so i went with the 2008.

I had a '07 G35S sedan and currently own a '09 G37S sedan. I have to say there isn't much of a difference although the '09 suspension feels a little stiffer.

How many miles are on the 09? Could just be the fact that the G37's suspension is still new. All of my cars suspension felt softer after about 5000 miles.

How does the 6MT in your 07 compare to the 09? Is it as drastic of a difference as the magazines make it out to be? Frankly, when I tested an 07 6MT, the shifter didn't bother me at all and I thought it was fine.

I just passed 1,200 miles on the '09 so the car is still somewhat green. I'm sure the suspension will soften up a bit as I rack up some more miles

With regard to the 6MT, the '09 is much better than the '07. The '07 was difficult to drive smoothly due to the small clutch engagement point and the sensitive throttle (especially before the software update). While the clutch engagement point is still somewhat small, tip in is much better and it's easy to drive the car smoothly. The '09 6MT isn't as clunky or as noisy as the '07 either. The shifter is fairly solid and precise but it still vibrates when at idle. Overall, the '09 6MT feels much more refined compared to the '07.
