Cool

I have just slightly over 34K miles, and I average around 20-21 mpg (Hwy/City).

Just this week I drove my G to visit a client in Northern California, and I averaged around 24 mmpg for that trip.

As for gas, I only use 76 or Chevron. I get slightly better mileage with 76. Forget Shell, Safeway, or Costco gas. My mileage with these is 2-3 mpg lower.

Regards,

I have 11,000 miles on mine and getting pretty consistent 20.6 MPG with 70% city and 30% highway. My last tank suffered a bit as I decided to have a few WOT runs just for fun. But it only went down to 19 MPG or so.

Thanks for all the info guys. I feel much better knowing my MPG will improve over time. My car is new. Got it in Sept 08 and it has about 2100 mi.
It's funny because I used to have an 03 Nissan Altima that I traded for this car and I drove that car much harder than this one. Its like Im so conscience of my gas mileage that I tend to drive easier. (plus the G's engine is so damn loud I tend to think Im going faster than I am lol, j/k)

I averaged 21.8 mpg over the first 4K miles on my G with about 60% of that being city driving.

Wow! Only 2K miles in 4 - 5 months... I wish I could keep my mileage that low. I've already put 4K on my car in 3 - 4 months and I split my driving between 3 cars... If I only had one car I'd probably have over 10K on the car already. LOL
