Really, I would just like something simple like the one RavSpec is selling for the coupe:

I agree with mish. To pull off that initial and second version of the diffuser, you need an aggressive look all around.

The Rav one looks subdued enough, but still aggressive at the same time to be used on a car with just wheels and a drop.

I asked Ravspec about building one for the 07+ G sedan and they said, "If we can get 20 deposits of $150, it would be very possible."

What's the total cost?

Will it fit better than the rear window spoiler? They fit fine in the beginning but then started to have fitment issues.
I'm not dropping $300 on a piece of plastic that's gonna get ripped off and thrown away in disgust 6 weeks down the road.

Other than that, I have no real strong feelings on the matter.

not feeling it, way too aggressive looking for the sedan with no other bodywork

The diffuser without rear spats is going to look quite weird. I'll take the diffuser if it can look like the sketch, if not I'll wait on something else. Thanks a bunch for helping us sedan drivers out though.

thanks man, this weekend has been pretty busy for me...threw a party on saturday and had some friends come in for drinks on monday so i've been lagging lol. i'm gonna go to XDC for sure and chill out with those guys and see where things are going.

also, keep in mind, this project was originally started to make a one-off piece...and i was going to get XDC to make another diffuser for those who wants some. also, if you guys decide to go the ravspec route, how reasonable is it to get 20 deposits of 150? ...and then wait lol.

i don't mind, because i'm getting this piece made no matter what and for those who want it, i will get it made and shipped to you...also, hank would you be down to come test fit on your stock bumper? i think with your black wheels it would look good in a satin black...give you guys an update later

Thanks for the update, Paul. Any chance they will make a slightly less aggresive one for the others on here? I'm sure we could get a small group of buyers together if that helps.

I'd be willing to pony up the cash for a slightly toned down version of yours in CF, if they're willing to do it.

we're still going with the idea of making a couple other designs beside this current one. there should be some good progress this week because they got a couple cars out of their shop...hang tight guys

also, i don't feel too comfortable on getting a group of buyers to throw in a deposit...especially since the first product is not finished yet. that's why i find it unreasonable and unnecessary to have you guys pay for a product that doesn't exist yet. i remember a group buy on a front lip not too long ago where it went bad because people didn't like having their money sit for months, and wait on a product...don't want that happening to anyone

as of right now, first goal is to complete the first piece in order to modify the existing piece. from there we can go less agressive...and i'll work on getting a stock bumper sedan to come out and test fit, hopefully hank's listening!

i have an idea though, some of you who are good at photoshopping or sketching lol. because i notice there are some who want more streggs and some who want more of a rear valence filler instead of a diffuser...we can do this to have an idea where to go with the more aggressive and less aggressive offsprings
