No. Parts like coilovers, drilled rotors, etc... must be replaced because as "safety parts", these specific aftermarket parts are a liability to them as a dealer.

If they sell a car with cheap drilled rotors to a customer, a rotor cracks on the customer, and someone gets injured, it can come back to the dealer for selling an unsafe car.

No use lying kid or trying to stretch the truth. No HS kid has the income to put a down payment on a new G37 and then pay it off.

You're probably using the money from selling your current G which you didn't pay for.

But like I said, I wouldn't care if your parents bought it for you, if they have the means then thats awesome. My parents got me my first car when I turned 16 back in the day. Just don't put any stupid visual mods like a Momo shifter or neon lights like you currently have.

Enjoy the G37.

i understand..thanks for the explination..well like i said i am going to try to pay it off..i know that i wont be able to pay 730 every month but i am going to work my a$$ off and try and for months that i miss and my parents have to cover it for me i am going to keep working and make it up to them...

for mods i agree with you...i am going to do very little to the car..put my 20in vertini hennessys on it..leave almost all stock for performance accept for mods such as possibly clutch...and for the manual shift **** i would love to do like what i saw on a previous thread where someone modified the shift **** to match the washi aluminum trim...

other than that i have changed my opinions on alot of things...i have grown out of the "ricey" mods that i have added in the past, such as neons, carbon fiber stickers, fart cans, blue reverse lights and dome lights..

i would like to do possibly custom stitching on the interior and small random things...but i want to have a car that looks like a 40 year old business mans car that is classy, not a 18 year old street racers car...

thanks tho for the advice

That is what we want to hear. People need time to grow up. I was a big ricer in the past too but I have grown up. I don't give ricers hard time. They need someone to explain to them how to love a car and they need time to learn it.
For a 18 year old boy, you are doing a good job and you will be a man soon. Congratulation for giving up the ricer life.

most of us are ricers at some point in our modding life but that's how you begin. then we gradually mature and so is our choice of cars and mods to do. good luck with your new ride bro.

Another word of advice...20" rims do not scream "40 year old successful business man". Although I'm sure they'll look nice on a G37.

Be wary of the adverse effects vs. positive effects that mods do. For 20" rims, the G37S already has a rough ride as it is due to the 19" rims and stiff suspension. Slapping on 20"s will increase handling, I'm not familar with the weight, but all else equal, bigger rims equals more rotating mass which will effect gas mileage, ride quality will become stiffer due to the thinner tires you'll need, and acceleration will decrease, although you probably won't notice it.

I tend to get annoyed when the stuff that happened to your G happens in general. Like I said, teens that get really nice cars is always nice because its nice having a great car at such a young age, but it also causes young people to not appreciate the value of something. It happened to me when I was a teen. I dogged the hell out of my car because hell, I didn't pay for it. I would do the most retarded stuff in it because I also wasn't aware with just how bad a lot of it was.

Simple knowledge and appreciate can go a long way in having a great looking car that you can also respect and take good care of.

^^^What he said. My first car at 16 was a '88 Grand Prix, and after a year of leaking oil, sticky e-brake, and cold weather stalling, my dad finally decided i could have a nicer car and leased a brand new 97 chevy blazer for my brother and i to share.

Soon as I graduated and got *real* job I got an 04 G35 coupe, which was the nicest car I had ever driven. It makes you appreciate it a lot more. Just be humble about it and no one will ever rip you for having your parents buy your car.
