15000 mile service what have you done/what should I have done?

I am definitely going to do the oil change

I am not sure if i should have the brakes serviced, I have 15000 miles on the car is this too early to have the brakes serviced? The service brochure says that they will take them apart and clean them, I think this is useless at this point.

The dealer says that I should also change the rear differential fluid as well, is this true? This means I will have to change it once per year.

All the other ridiculous fluid and light/horn inspections, air filter and cabin filter I can do myself.

What have you guys done?

Really, why would you care what a bunch of strangers have done when you have in your glove box the answers to all of your questions? If you want warranty coverage, it's your responsibility to maintain the car according to the appropriate schedule in the maintenance guide. I've posted several times about this, that you can, over 60,000 miles, spend $500 on a do-it-yourself basis or $3,000 for dealership premium maintenance - either figure can satisfy warranty requirements. But if you want to spend less than $3,000 and not get your hands dirty, you have to find a dealership willing to do Schedule 1/2 maintenance, as not all of them will.

My advice is to pick a schedule and stick with it. Nobody is going to give you any credit if you change all the fluids at 15k and then blow off everything but oil changes until 60k. Unless you live in a temperate climate and drive 90% on the freeway with no trips less than 5 miles, you're looking at Schedule 1 at a minimum. If you're keeping the car past 150k miles, you may save a bunch of money changing fluids more often. Good luck!
