Just got my car last month, boy i love it! Use to have an 03 honda accord coupe. I know i know rags to riches! Ok so heres the problem. On the first gear there is a rattle noise that comes is that common? Also i called the dealers and they said it could be the heat shield! But what i dont understand is that my car is in warrenty, so how come the HS is not covered? Also its a US car and im in toronto. Any suggestions?

 

some of the canadian dealers try to give you hard time cause you bought the car from the states. Try to call infiniti 1 800 and se what they say about it. Maybe somebody will chime in who have more experience with this.

 

Don't recall seeing it but there might be a heat shield around the cat. If so, that could be the heat shield they're referring to. I had a 96 Accord and I replaced the heat shield on my own. It wasn't difficult to do on the Accord.
