No need to drill holes with the Stillen, which is a big advantage IMO... Just 3M tape and some adhesion promotor and your all set. If I get the Stillen, I'm hoping to have a body shop perminently attached it to the chrome lip and then paint them both together, so they basically become one piece. Then the lip would actually bolt on using the factory mounting points for the chrome lip with maybe just a couple of pieces of 3M tape on the ends.

Hehe... I'm glad someone thinks so, because I can't stand the chrome with the IP... I can't wait to get rid of every piece of chrome on the car. LOL

the g37 spoiler is cool and so are the impul and TK ones...but does any of them give you the CSL boot lid type curves?

that's all i wanted when going with the stillen spoiler...the chrome piece doesn't bother me cause there are so many chrome pieces on the car i think it flows well, it works even better if you have those nasty fast intentions cannisters blinging away with the chrome finisher...the price isn't really a factor because the stillen spoiler will come out to around 500 after paint...if you get the same kinda shot of the other spoilers, then it gives you more angles, and i know how some of you feel about "angles" rather than curves

Good to know. I wonder if the adhesive is strong enough to hold the thing in place. It is supposed to provide a few pounds of downforce at speed. Then again, with the Stillen that downforce will probably help with adhesion further.

Thank you.

^ It shouldn't be a problem. That 3M tape will really stick, especially when used with the adhesion promoter... The majority of the front lip is basically held on with the same stuff.

Hey Paul, still love how that Stillen spoiler looks on your car!!! How long have you had it installed for? Any problems with the 3M tape coming loose?

thanks adrian, i've had it installed for almost a year now. when putting the spoiler on, i actually used some extra glue directly on the 3M tape. it was some kind of silicon glue that you had to mix. it's on there good lol
