I used to have there halos installed on my g35 coupe and had many issues with the Halo itself breaking since they are a flourescent glass..I purchased them from a forum member and the guys at AAC worked me the first couple of times I had issues. They have good customer service but after the 3rd to 4th time of calling because of a halo breaking or going out...inverter not working and then actually sending me the total wrong halos sucked....EnviedG35 I dont mean to ruin your friends reputation or anything and I had my headlights about 3 years ago..I am sure they have picked up there game now since they do alot of business but this was my experience and I gave up.

here are some pics:

Turn signal area:

Haziness:

Discoloring of the rings and the epoxy started turning brown:

Pics of them on during a photoshoot cruise...one of the halo sets wasnt working so I un-plugged the other one...

I got tired of sending them back in to get fixed so I picked up Clearcorners.com.

I dont try to steer you all away from the product...but I always state that you pay for what you get..I think the product was very cool until the issues like this started coming up...after it messes up once you pretty much cant get it back to normal with the headlights...you start to get haziness you will always get it unless the lens are replaced etc...they helped me out a couple of times with sending me extra halos after they broke but they said that I needed to repair them myself or they would charge me to fix them everytime they went out...IMO it wasnt my fault they were going since they originally did the install...If you want to try your luck then good luck at it.

I dont like to post up pics of clearcorners.com products because everyone harp's on the prices etc...but at the end of the day..the R&D along with time and effort put into his work is astonishing....if you watch the whole video it basically took them half a day to do a whole headlight mod...

these are the G37 coupe headlights..he is working on the 07 + sedans right now.

G35man04 - hey thanks a lot for taking the time in sharing your experience. I dont see it as "bashing" another company by any means. Your simply sharing your own personal experience and providing info on things that could go wrong in a mod like this.

I wouldnt have known things like this could happen; now the other forum members can make an informed decision if they want to pursue a mod like this.

Envied - that close eh? hehe niceee. Well post pics up if u decide to do it and hopefully, u wont run into any issues =)

How would it interfere with the ICC?

I think to avoid issues like this, maybe the best route is LED's...

I am more concerned if these would work with the adaptive headlights.

Ditto. Looking at the lights, it probably won't affect it. The eyes attach to the outer shroud, which the projectors don't make contact with (to allow movement).

BTW, I love their work, but ClearCorners is on crack with their pricing.
$300-$500 for a pair of license plate lights?
F off!

the one thing with CLearcorners.com though is everything is plugged back in factory...meaning you dont have to splice wires into an existing power source or anything of that nature..he takes the time and ties into all of those peices for you leaving everything hidden to where it looks like a factory headlight...that is the one thing about clearcorners that sets them apart. Even the non-intelligent person can install a set of clearcorners.com products....if you can un-plug that peice you can plug it back in. Unlike AAC or anything other you have to splice into the power sources yourself...maybe solder the connection if you feel like it but IMO thats junk.
