My wife was driving her G and had a tire blowout after lunch. She picked up two nails on the inside and it caused the tire to blow out on the inside due to location.

Is there any tire protection standard with the new vehicle warranty? Or is it completely tied to the wheel/tire combo?

PS. Any info appreciated as I'm trying to make arrangements to get a new tire while I'm at work.

 

I believe you need the wheel and Tire insurance to get the road hazard insurance.
The standard warranty doesn't include that.

 

I think you are right. I will start shopping around for a replacement tire.
