Do you have data to back this claim up?
Data that will prove all those Infiniti engineers wrong?

Until Infiniti tells me it's safe, I'm not risking the well-being of my system.

I wouldn't worry about the chrome standing out to much. I've had my exhaust on for a couple of weeks now and my wife still hasn't noticed it and she's even been driving it most of the week this week. LOL

The only reason a staggered set-up will effect the AWD system is if the overall rolling diameter of the front and rear tires are different. It has nothing to do with the actual wheel widths being different. There are many company's that offer staggered tire set-up with their AWD cars, including Porsche (911 Turbo) and Nissan (GT-R). Of course, the easiest way to ensure that the front and rear tires have the same overall rolling diameter is to run the same size tire all around. Incidentally, I ran a staggered set up on my 1991 Eclipse GSX (AWD) for over 10 years with no ill effects whatsoever.
