Infant stroller doesn't fit in trunk
 

I just had a baby and the Graco infant stroller doesn't fit in my trunk because of the cd changer. Does anyone know an infant stroller that will fit in the G35 trunk that has the six cd changer in the back?

Heck I have had a couple different strollers in my trunk along with suitcases at the same time. They fit with no problem.
I just emailed my daughter to find out the make of her stroller that we were using last week with our grandaughter.

I've fit a myriad of strollers in the back without a problem - a couple at time in certain cases. Although, there are times i wish the cd-changer wasn't there, it makes it too complex to place oversized items in the trunk with that in place. Granted, all our strollers are of the "lightweight" and/or "travel" kinds. Not the full-sized ones.

My daughter just emailed me back, her stroller is a Mamas and Papas Pulse Stroller, it is an Italian make and is lightweight. She purchased it in Europe. She could even put the infant car seat in the stroller.

As Mike said above, there are probably many lightweight ones that will fit.

Okay - thanks! I'll look into that stroller. The stroller I have now is the huge one that is a hand me down from my son... back when I had an SUV.

go to toys r us and have the salesperson fold it and test fit it in your car. thats what i did.

I've never been a fan of those huge travel systems that come with the massive stroller.
I like the small and lightweight strollers that allow you to clip the infant seat right into it.

Once the baby was out of the travel system (seat that clicks into a base), I upgraded to an "umbrella stroller"

These fold up and pop into the trunk of the G with room to spare. Nothing worse than going to the mall and then on the way home, not having room for shopping bags and all the other crap you just bought.

i agree with aesonvirus. the lighter the better. those are the strollers i have: kolcraft frame and maclaren triumph.

The babies giant Graco Quattro deluxe travel system barely fits upside down in the trunk. The Baby Trend Snap & Go fits nicely.

Take out your CD changer.... It free's up a good bit of space in your trunk. I took mine out, after realizing with MP3 capabilities in the dash, CF card reader, AND a 10gb HDD, i didn't need an out dated CD changer that ONLY reads regular CD's, i took it out and never looked back...

You wouldn't happen to have a how-to, would you? Did you replace the liner?

A while back someone priced the liner.
I don't recall the actual price, but it was cheap.

To remove should be pretty basic.
Just pop the clips on the liner & start unbolting & disconnecting.
I can't see it being any more than a 3 out of 10 difficulty.

If I had one in mine, it would have been my 1st mod. :D

I recently removed the CD Changer in the back, and purhcased the top trunk liner w/o Navi and 2 clip from the dealers and paid $70, Boy it makes a world of difference of having more space in the trunk. Bolts right in. Plus I used the CD changer and placed it in my wife's base model Murano. So it was a Win Win situation for me.

yea, i replaced the liner, I think there was 4 small push clips that you have to remove (use a flat head screw driver, stick it in the side, twist and pop out). Then there's a bracket around the CD changer, just unbolt it (10mm i believe) and it just comes out. Then i replaced it with a new liner, which has i think 5 clips (it'll hold up fine w/o the extra clip, but i had extra anyway, so i was in luck). Even if you don't buy the liner, it really isnt that noticeable if you go w/o the liner. Only someone that owns a G35 would notice there was something that's supposed to be there...

Graco did not fit my non CD box Gsedan. You need an umbrella stroller to fit this tiny trunk.
