I did a stupid thing two weeks back costing $1000 (insurance deductible). This weekend got my car back.

Total damages are about $2500. They also changed my two rear tires and I asked them to put Falken 420s. ( these new tires feel great ).

Also there were some damages to the bumper which the bodyshop did not find in initial repairs. So I went there yesterday and dropped off my front bumper. they gave me some temporary unpainted one.

Most importantly, I have learned the lesson: I will never mess with VDC again.

at least you are big enough to admit to your mistake...now you have just a little more insight as to why modern cars have vdc.
