Nissan Ester oil recommended in VQ37VHR motor

Why is Infiniti recommending Nissan Ester oil for the VQ37VHR? The VQ35HR motor never had this recommendation. I wanted to use Mobil 1 synthetic in the G37 like I do in the G35. The Nissan GT-R is factory filled with Mobil1 synthetic. I know that engine is hand built bla, bla, bla but what gives? I read in another thread that the area rep recommended ester oil because it will quiet the motor. What is everyone using in their G37's?

I just had my first oil change and used Mobil1 5W30. No worries here as this has been my oil of choice for the last 14 years.

they recommend it because there can be minor valvetrain noise, primarily from the VVEL motors.

I had my first oil change a couple of weeks ago and used the Nissan Ester Oil. Since I plan on keeping the car for a while I'll continue use it until there is a longer history for the VQ37VHR see if any issues come up for owners who use the ester oil vs. those who don't. Just my $0.02.
